Free stock photos - where to find them ?
Not sure where to go for pictures for a presentation or blog? I have a perfect solution for you - free photo banks are one of the best benefits of the Internet - no copyright as well, so you will not get into trouble for using them.
Before I go to the links, however, a few words about the licenses. A license is something that we always have to pay attention to before using any files found on the web. It provides information on how we can use the files i.e. pictures if we can use it at all. Free banks are based on different types of CC licenses - Creative Commons. Among the pages listed below you will find the following three signs:
CC0 means that the author has waived all copyrights and thus allows us to use, copy, distribute, modify without recognizing his authorship. Most of the following stocks are based on this license.
CC-BY - Also allows you to copy, change, distribute, present and perform i.e. a song, but only on condition that each time we mark its author.
CC-NC - In this case, we have permission for all the activities listed above, but only on condition that the work will not be used in a commercial project, i.e. one that brings us any remuneration.
1. Jey Mantri (CC0)
2, Magdeleine
3. Picjumbo (CC0)
4. Negative Space (CC0)
5. Glyphs (CC0)
